IT'S A SPRING FLING! - Special Event

"It's a Spring Fling" will he held in Downtown Pleasanton from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, May 7, presented by the Pleasanton Downtown Association.

Shops, restaurants and businesses will celebrate Spring with appetizers, drinks, live entertainment, festive decorations, and lots of surprises.

Look for a bouquet of balloons in front of participating locations.

Volunteers dressed like Spring Fairies will be handing out programs throughout the evening.

Each participating merchant will give a special fresh flower to customers making purchases and as customers shop and support downtown they will gather their own bouquet of flowers to take home.

-Savvy Seconds, 560 Main St., Carnations. Pink lemonade, facial certificate, in-store gift certificate.

-Jeweler's Gallery, 614 Main St., Carnations. Cheese & fruit, drawing for earrings.

-Pans on Fire, 310-B Main St., Daffodils. Hors d'ouevres and dessert bites, drawing for merchandise/kitchen items.

-American Harvest, 438 Main St., Roses. Cookies, artist Debbee Thibault will be signing her one of a kind original figures.

-Me & Emmi, 549 Main St., Cookies

-Rising Loafer & Bakery, 428 Main St., Tea, lemonade, soda, drawing for breakfast or lunch with beverage and dessert for 2. $35 value.

-Berry Patch, 350-A Main St., Ice tea & madeleines, several drawings for items throughout the evening. Giving out Iris' with a purchase. Chef Claudia Imatt of Shall We Dine Personal Chef Services will be offering samples of her Too-Too-Tasty Canapes.

-Little Valley Winery, 739 Main St., Mixed Flowers. Sweets & champagne, drawing for a Spring basket.

-Towne Center Books, 555 Main St., Tulip. Cookies & beverages, drawing for $50 gift certificate.

-Sincerely Yours, 711 Main St., Carnations. Tea & cookies, raffle for a basket.

-Serenity Stoneworks Fountains & Decor, 252 Main St., $25 gift certificate raffle.

-Stork's Nest, 55 W. Angela St., Ste. 100, Gerbera Daisy. Desserts & raffle for $50 gift certificate.

-Museum on Main, 603 Main St., Raffle for free museum membership.

-Your Stage Toys, 77 W. Angla St., Tulips. Kid mimosas (sparkling cider & orange juice) with pastries. Raffle for basket of toys.

-The Data Rescue Center, 307 Ray St., Located in the Round Table parking lot for this event. Raffle for free print scanning service ($200 value).

-Murphy's Paw, 410 Main St., Raffle for a Ashley & Co. sterling silver paw print necklace and a $50 gift card., Refreshments will be served. Tulips.

-Gourmet Works, 420 Main St., Raffle for a $100 gift card. Chocolate dipped strawberries.

-Studio 7, 400 Main St., An artist will be painting in the studio. Raffle for a Studio 7 gift certificate. Refreshments will be served.

-Redcoats: Will have The Huddys, a husband and wife duo who play and sing classic rock/folk ballads. www.thehuddys.com
