The PDA is comprised of Full and Associate Members:

Full Membership

The Pleasanton Downtown Association was formed in 1984 by community leaders and downtown business owners to help businesses in the downtown area compete with the growing competition from malls and shopping centers. The boundaries of the downtown area are Peters Avenue on the west, First Street on the east, Bernal Avenue on the south, and the Arroyo del Valle on the north. All businesses in the downtown area are automatically general members of the Pleasanton Downtown Association. General members may vote on issues put to the general membership. They may also become Board members, committee chairpersons, and officers of the PDA. General members who are interested in becoming involved with any of the PDA's many activities should contact the PDA office or any Board member.

Associate Membership

Downtown Pleasanton is the centerpiece of our community and a draw for both residents and visitors. The continued revitalization of our downtown benefits our entire community. Our Associate Membership program allows local businesses located outside the downtown district to support downtown Pleasanton while taking advantage of a variety of opportunities to market your business.

As an Associate Member, you will receive the following benefits:

• Listing, link and description of your business on the PDA web site (average of 1,500 hits per day) www.pleasantondowntown.net
• Listing in the downtown business directory. (over 30,000 distributed; 25,000 Pleasanton households and 5,000 throughout the Tri-Vally)
• Invitation to our membership mixers
• Receive quarterly mailings of the PDA membership newsletter and monthly email newsletter
• Invitation to the Annual Membership Dinner
• Marketing and sponsorship opportunities
• Discounted booth rate for 1st Wednesday Street Parties
• Participate in continued viability of downtown Pleasanton

Associate Membership is only $200.00 per year; payable to the Pleasanton Downtown Association.

Your 12-month membership will begin upon receipt of your business information and dues.
