Giveaways, Raffles and Special Guest Pourers Announced For Pleasanton’s Wine Stroll
 
Pleasanton, CA –  Pleasanton’s Annual Summer Wine Stroll is this Saturday, July 12th from 5-8 p.m.  Participants will enjoy a variety of wine and food offered at 27 downtown locations.  This year the Pleasanton Downtown Association is happy to welcome Pleasanton Mayor Jerry Thorne and Councilwoman Kathy Narum as guest pourers.  They will be pouring four varietals from Opolo Vineyards at Acadia Health on Main Street.
 
Some of the downtown stores participating in the Wine Stroll are offering participants a chance to win prizes and receive special promotions.  The Jewelers Gallery is raffling off earrings.  Salon 645 will be raffling off free salon services.  Amador Valley Chiropractic is offering free chair massages.  Studio Seven Arts will have artist Hines at the gallery providing a painting demonstration.  Prim is offering 15% during the Wine Stroll.  Flaunt Hair Designs will be giving away wine charms along with raffles for free and discounted services at the salon.  In addition, each guest will receive a tote bag from the Firehouse Arts Center, a commemorative wine glass and event map. Musicians will also play along Main and Ray Streets during the entire event.  
 
Tickets will be available for $40 online at PleasantonDowntown.net until 9 p.m. on Friday, July 11 unless sold out beforehand. Tickets are also available for cash or check only at Studio Seven Arts – 400 Main Street and The Rose Hotel – 807 Main Street.  If not sold out, remaining tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event beginning at 4:30 p.m. for $50 (cash only) at the event starting location – the Firehouse Arts Center at 4444 Railroad Avenue.  Tickets must be redeemed on July 12 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Firehouse Arts Center.  Only 1,100 tickets will be sold for this event. 
A variety of wine will be offered by Boa Ventura de Caires Winery, Boisset Wine Living, Cellar Door, Chouinard Vineyards and Winery, Concannon Vineyard, Crooked Vine/Stony Ridge, Ehrenberg Cellars, Elliston Vineyards, Fenestra Winery, Garrè Vineyard & Winery, J. Lohr Vineyards, Little Valley Winery, Menage á Trois, Mitchell Katz Winery, Murrieta’s Well, New Leaf Community Markets, Opolo Vineyards, Robert Mondavi, Wente Vineyards and White Crane Winery.
 
The Pleasanton Downtown Association encourages everyone to enjoy downtown responsibly. To support this effort the PDA will be selling a limited number of designated driver tickets the night of the event for $10 cash.  Event is rain or shine, no refunds.
