Pleasanton, CA – The Pleasanton Downtown Association’s (PDA) popular Concert in the Park series kicked off Friday, June 5 with classic rock from OTR to several thousand people stretching across Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks at the corner of First Street and Neal Street.  The free concerts are featured every Friday in June, July and August from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

New bright colored banners are lining Main Street in downtown Pleasanton.  More than 40 of the signs were fixed to lamp posts this week.  The four various banners display information about popular events downtown including Concerts in the Park, 1st Wednesday Street Parties and Farmers’ Market.  A bright red banner reminds passersby to “Shop Local, Dine Local and Play Local.”  The banners are made possible by collaboration between the Pleasanton     read more...
