About the event
The Pleasanton Run for Education is our largest fundraiser of the year, and serves to celebrate our community, encourage fitness, and support our schools. The event will take place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds and will offer 5K (3.1 mile), 10K (6.2 mile), and a (new!) 2 Mile distances. All three courses are designed for participants of all ages and athletic abilities, and we welcome runners, walkers, and baby jogger strollers in all three events. For kids ages 3 to 10 years who are not quite ready for the longer distance, we also host a 1/4 mile fun run.

By joining PPIE’s Run for Education 2023, you are supporting our 15 public schools, 14,500 students and over 9,000 school families with supplemental staff (support counselors, reading/math specialists, librarians and school tech specialists), STEAM grants and innovative programs to engage students with leading businesses in the area.
